What is Solder Paste
Solder paste is a mixture of fine solder powder, flux and a binder, when formed together as a paste, these can be successfully used to join, or solder, two pieces of metal together. Solder paste can be available in gold and silver options and in a variety of types including easy, medium and hard solder paste. The difference between easy and hard solder is the melting range with hard having a far higher melting range.

How to Use Solder Paste
Solder paste is used to join to separate bits of metal together. Using solder paste will take some practice. The join you are soldering should be flush and free from any debris or dirt before you apply your solder paste. Once ready, you can then apply heat with a hand torch, moving in a circular motion until the metal begins to glow a dull colour. Once your metal has reached this point, the heat can remain focused on the solder which should eventually burn off.
Once soldered, you can pickle your piece to remove the oxidisation.
