What is a collet used for?
Pendant drills have a lot of additional accessories including collet drill bits. Collets are a special tool designed to attach to your drill of choice, once attached the collet can then expand to fit a tool of your choice. Pressure is applied to then hold the tool securely in place.
Collets are often used in jewellery making as they provide secure clamping and allow for a quick changeover of parts.
