Diamond Polishing Paste for Precision Polishing

Diamond polishing paste is used for the final stages of polishing and cleaning a range of materials including steel, ferrous materials, natural stones and more but what exactly is it?

Diamond paste is a compound that contains synthetic diamond particles and it is these particles that make the paste abrasive. The paste itself is available in a range of grits ranging from 1 micron to 60 micron with the coarser grits recommended as the starting point and the more finer pastes used near the end of the polishing process.

Supplied in syringes for easy application, the paste can be mixed with oil and water to reduce any friction and is favoured by jewellery makers for consistent results.
