Gemstone Specifications: Citrine gemstones have a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. Part of the quartz family, the citrine stone has a distinctive yellow/gold colour. Citrine stones are available in faceted gemstones that have a trigonal crystal structure, in shapes including round, oval, octagonal and more. Round citrine cabochons are also available. Sizes start from 1.50mm and go up to 10.00mm.

It is advised that citrine stones are not placed in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Citrine stones can easily be cleaned with warm soapy water or an untreated cloth.
