Sodalite Semi-Precious Beads
Sodalite is a semi-precious round bead that is ideal for a range of jewellery making projects. Ideal for simple to intricate pieces, sodalite beads work well when used alone or when paired with other stones. Rich in colour, easy to work with and an alternative to traditional stones, the sodalite is the perfect stone for a range of projects.
Gemstone Specifications: Sodalite is a natural gemstone with a hardness of 5-6 on the Mohs scale. Sodalite is a rock mineral stone, easily identifiable by its blue-violet colour and motted patterns. As with all gemstones, it is advised that sodalite stones are not placed in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or in chemical cleaning solution. We stock sodalite stones in 16” / 40cm strands in sizes starting from 4.00mm and going up to 8.00mm. All of the sodalite semi-precious beads are fitted with thread holes.
