TIG Welding for Jewellery Making

Different to laser welding, TIG welders operate using argon gas. TIG stands for Tungsten Inert Gas and the welders operate when an electrode tip is placed on the item produces an electric pule of argon gas that will join the metal seam securely.

Similar to laser machines, TIG welders are also used for a range of jewellery making processes including seam welding, ring resizing, creating of bezels, fixing jump rings and chains and more. TIG welders allow for speedy and accurate results making them the ideal choice for a range of small and larger scale jobs and are an ideal investment for all jewellery makers.
